Originally from South Jersey, I’m a Florida based artist who designs and paints needlepoint canvases. I painted my first needlepoint canvas in 1978, and returned to needlepoint painting after a career in nursing, specializing in both Hospice and Bone Marrow Transplant. Since childhood, creating has always been my ‘oxygen’. Every aspect of my life was another opportunity to create. Much of my inspiration comes from living in Key West in the early 70’s, when the island captured my heart and fueled my creativity. Many sunsets later, with 3 adult children, and 7 priceless grands (blessed that all are within hugging distance =), I now enjoy living in the South Florida warmth again. A great delight in recent years, has been watching the grands create kids’ needlepoint designs and launch their own line of hand painted kits called Stitchin’ Littles.
