Suzanne

INDY PIC      A small town girl – born & raised in South Jersey, Suzanne followed her heart in 1971, moving to a (warmer) small town, Key West. The island captured her heart and became a foundation for her lifelong creative ventures. She dabbled in many projects over the years, painting her first needlepoint canvas in 1978. After retiring from a nursing career in Bone Marrow Transplant & hospice care, she returned to art full time, designing & painting needlepoint canvases. She launched her wholesale business in 2013 and quickly grew her line licensing with many talented, successful artists. Suzanne paints each ‘interpretation to needlepoint canvas’ for her artists, meticulously maintaining the detail and colors of their original art. She & her husband have 3 adult children ( & spouses), and 7 grandchildren – “within hugging distance”. They still live in a ‘small town’ in South Florida. Suzanne reflects, “One of my greatest delights in recent years has been helping our littles create & launch their own line of hand painted kids’ needlepoint kits which has grown into a successful business of its’ own. The girls design, paint, stitch, do business planning, and attend national wholesale markets, enjoying interacting with their customers independently at such a young age. They beget inspiration, to say the least =) ”
